You don’t have to live with constant pain or tension

“My neck is killing me.”   “I can’t switch off.”   “I’m exhausted, but I still can’t sleep.”
"My hormones are all over the place!" “I’ve tried everything… and nothing is working.”

If you have pain that just keeps coming back…

your back, neck or shoulder flaring up and never quite settling.

Or headaches or migraines that won’t let up, no matter what you try.

Or if you are stressed and your body feels constantly tense…

like you can’t fully relax or switch off.

And even when you sleep, it doesn’t feel deep or truly restorative.

Or if you're hormonal: navigating PMS or peri-menopause or menopause and not quite feeling like yourself anymore.

Or you're trying to fall pregnant or maybe

going through fertility treatments...

Or if you are pregnant and want some gentle support for your changing body.

Or you're preparing for a healthy birth…

Or needing a natural induction...

Acupuncture works with your body to:

  • calm your nervous system

  • ease pain

  • improve circulation and support healing

  • and help your body regain a more natural balance

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during a treatment? Your first session begins with a conversation about what’s been going on for you — your symptoms, your health history, and how your body has been feeling overall. From there, treatment is done while you lie comfortably on a treatment bed. Very fine needles are gently placed at specific points on the body to support healing, release tension, and help your system regulate. Most people find the experience deeply relaxing

How many treatments will I need? This depends on what you’re coming for, and how long it’s been going on. Some people feel a shift within a few sessions, while others benefit from a short course of treatment over time. This will be discussed with you, and adjusted based on how your body responds.

Is acupuncture safe? When performed by a trained practitioner, acupuncture is considered very safe. Sterile, single-use needles are used, and treatments are adapted to your individual needs and health history.

Does acupuncture hurt? The needles used in acupuncture are extremely fine — very different from injections. You may feel a slight sensation as they are placed, but most people describe it as minimal or barely noticeable. Many are surprised by how comfortable it feels, and often relax so deeply that they drift off during treatment.

What should I do before my appointment? It’s best to come having eaten something light beforehand, rather than on an empty stomach. Wear comfortable clothing if possible, and allow yourself a little time to arrive without feeling rushed.

Can I come for treatment during pregnancy? Yes — acupuncture can be a gentle and supportive way to help the body during pregnancy. Treatments are always adapted appropriately, whether for general support, managing discomfort, or preparing for birth.

What can acupuncture help with? People come for a wide range of reasons, including: •back and neck pain •headaches and migraines •Hypertension, diabetes, high blood pressure •stress, anxiety, and burnout •sleep difficulties •hormonal and women’s health concerns (including fertility, peri-menopause, menopause, and pregnancy support) It’s also often helpful for those who feel generally out of balance or not quite themselves.

Is there anything I need to do after a session? After treatment, it’s helpful to take things a bit more gently if you can. You might feel relaxed, slightly tired, or sometimes more energised. Drinking water and giving your body a bit of space to integrate the treatment can be beneficial.

How do I book an appointment? You’re welcome to get in touch via WhatsApp to ask a question or book a session. 📲 084 769 5776 freedmanshaul@gmail.com
